Scottish League One team guides 23/24

The Scottish League One, also known as cinch League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men’s professional football clubs in Scotland. It was established in 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League.

The Scottish League One season runs from August to May, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams are automatically promoted to the Scottish Championship, while the third, fourth, and fifth placed teams enter the Championship play-offs. The bottom two teams are relegated to the Scottish League Two.

The Scottish League One is a competitive league, with many teams vying for promotion. The current champions, Dunfermline Athletic, are looking to build on their success and challenge for a place in the Scottish Championship again next season.
